Born Contender's second dam is WC & 3-Gaited Reserve World Grand Champion, CH Beverly's Sweet Someone, who was sired by Stonewall's Society by Society Rex. This mare also produced CH I'm Somebody's Gentleman and 5-Gaited winner, I'll Remember you. The 3rd dam on Born Contender's pedigree is a mare by the name of Delightful Supreme.
